AFI celebrates CITIZEN KANE 70th Anniversary

CITIZEN KANE - ranked #1 on AFI’s 100 Years…100 Movies list as the greatest movie of all time - is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. Orson Welles was only 25 when he wrote, directed, produced and starred in this American classic. To mark the anniversary, AFI is releasing clips from the AFI Archive about the movie and its master filmmaker throughout September on AFI.com and Warner Bros. is releasing the film with bonus content for the first time ever for download on iTunes starting tomorrow.

To commemorate the anniversary, AFI is giving away 15 iTunes download codes good towards the FREE download of the CITIZEN KANE film with bonus content - enter by submitting your name through one of the following methods: (a) go to Facebook at facebook.com/AmericanFilmInstitute and complete the entry form, (b) go to Twitter at twitter.com/#!/AmericanFilm and send a tweet to @AmericanFilm and complete the entry form or (c) send an e-mail with your reply to membership@AFI.com with the Subject Header AFI CITIZEN KANE iTunes Download Giveaway. We’ll randomly draw 15 names on September 23 and the lucky recipients will be notified no later than September 30.  Good luck!
