AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH
Review by Karie Bible, www.FilmRadar.com
If you think watching a power presentation by Al Gore on the dangers of global warning is boring…..think again. While the premise may sound dull, the film is assuredly not. Directed by Davis Guggenheim, this new documentary about the dangers of climate control will get under your skin and stay there. While it often thought to be the job of political leaders, saving the environment is a universal responsibility that applies to everyone. The film consists of a multi media presentation on the global climate crisis and the need for change while interspersed with footage of Al Gore’s personal and professional life. He recalls his personal connection to environmental issues and what makes him passionate about public service. This is far more compelling than you might imagine. His explanation of complex environmental issues is straightforward and easy to understand. The greatest impact is made when the visual evidence comes into play. Hearing words is one thing, but seeing the damage, erosion and consequences of our climate crisis is quite another. Gore challenges the viewers to take action as a “moral imperative” not a political dictate. The film has a steady sense of drama and even suspense that keeps it from feeling like a 60 minutes profile. It is so much more than that. It is a call to action, a rallying cry and an enticement for education into this complicated and urgent issue. Regardless of your political beliefs or affiliations, AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH presents a case for action that we can’t afford to ignore.

hello ...
go look for the movie anywhere else than ireel ... they charge me for a trial that i didn’t even consume due to technical issues, i never streamed a full movie, i tried a few just to see if it works but after 1 or 2 minutes of unstable, bad stream due to my slow connexion, i stopped everything & didn’t go to the site, yet after 1 month they charge me. i think i’ll go legal with them.
it’s a trap, sorry but i had to warn you!
cheers!
