Best tv show—-desperate housewives!!

I have been watching desperate housewives since first season. I think it brings something new, it is like soap with more qualified story and characters so that everyone started to watch. To be honest the first season is the best one. And unfortunately the last one is a disaster. I think they should end the show with a great finale without making the series more foolish.
And for the next season there will be no Edie. When I first heard it, I definitely didn’t believe it. She is one of the best characters in desperate housewives; there will be no amusement without her.

Weeds: most clever, funny and entertaining�.

weeds must be the most clever, funny and entertaining show out there.. I’ve been watching it from the start and i must say..with the exeption of maybe one season..the show is just getting better and better.. I must honestly say that i thought the fifth season would be the starting of the end..but after watching the first 9 episodes, its like i said just getting better.. Ofcourse, as it most often is..the first couple of seasons was the best..in particular the second..and thanks to some incredible writers, it seems to they never run out of good ideas and plot twists..I really hope they continue the show for many seasons.

Hi…Israel here, i’ve been interested in filmmaking ever since i got my own handycam in 7th grade. Didn’t pursue my passion until about two years ago when i decided that i wanted to take filmmaking from being a hobby to being my full time career. I put together my ideas and plans and went out to find funding, that didnt turn out so well as I wasn’t formally trained. I’m now based in asia, teaching English as a Second Language, and im scouting for some filmschools in the region. One school that caught my attention is the International Academy of FIlm and Television. I was hoping anyone in the forum is currently enrolled in any of their film programs, i would really like to hear an insiders opinion.

pretty good �.desperate housewives season 5!!!

For the most part, “Desperate Housewives” season five is still pretty good. There are plenty of moments that are funny, sexy, and suspenseful. There was nothing wrong with the acting. The regular cast is back and the acting is fine as usual. There was nothing wrong with the presence of Teri Hatcher (Susan), Marcia Cross (Bree), Felicity Huffman (Lynette), Eva Longoria Parker (Gabrielle), Nicolette Sheridan (Edie), and season four newcomer Dana Delany (Katherine) on the screen. Same goes for the other cast members as well. Along the way in season five there were some newcomers. The most notable newcomer to season five was Neal McDonough, who plays Edie’s new husband Dave. This character provides most of the story arc to season five which means that this character has a deep dark secret that plays out during the season (quite similar to Dana Delany’s character in season four). McDonough is very good here and there’s no fault in his character‘s storyline.

Weeds: wonderfully bizarre !!

WEEDS is a complicated series currently airing on the cable network SHOWTIME, the same corp. that brought us DEAD LIKE ME and other controversial storylines. And WEEDS certainly is wonderfully bizarre.
Mary-Louise Parker (THE WEST WING) stars as Nancy Botwin, a recent widow with two children and a cash flow problem. She lives in the fictitious town of Agrestic in Anywhere Suburbia, America. In fact, the shows lead-in goes through great pains to show us how common an area she and her family live in. This is vital since most of today’s drug culture tends to live right under our proverbial noses. And the drug, as the title intends, is marijuana, often considered shameful by some to be considered “illegal” while others throw tantrums about its gateway significance. But Nancy has to feed her family and she’ll do whatever it takes to ensure their survival.

explore.org and the HATCH Film Festival have recently teamed up to create a brand new short film award!

The explore/Hatch Award will be presented to the filmmaker whose short film shows a group or individual hero striving for a better world through selfless acts. If you or anyone you know has created a film highlighting a cause that inspires others to make a difference, submissions are now open. The winner will receive a full expense paid trip to HATCHFest in Asheville, North Carolina (April 15th - 18th) where they will have the chance to meet with prominent mentors as well as receive a prize from the explore.org co-founder, Charles Annenberg Weingarten! Submissions are due on March 25th.
