Screamfest has been named one of Moviemaker Magazine’s “25 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee.”!

The 9th Annual Screamfest Horror Film Festival & Screenplay Competition takes place Oct. 16th to Oct. 25th 2009 at the prestigious Grauman’s Mann Chinese 6 Theatres at Hollywood and Highland in Hollywood. Call For Entries deadlines are approaching for new horror feature films, shorts and feature length screenplays.

Film submission deadlines: Early July 15th, Final August 15th.

Screenplay submission deadlines: Early June 15th, July 15th and Final Deadline August 15th.

Screamfest showcases talented genre filmmakers and writers from around the world to the entertainment industry in order to help further their careers. Films have obtained distribution, winning screenplays have been optioned and purchased, four of our past Screamfest winning directors have now directed for Sam Raimi and others have been attached to studio films as a result of Screamfest.
