A few months ago we decided to try something a little more ambitious than our normal YouTube videos. We want to make a movie. But we don’t want to make just any movie. A few of my friends stumbled upon a little musical album called Razia’s Shadow and got hooked. Then when I asked what sort of project they’d like to do with me, they said Razia’s Shadow: The Movie. Ever since then I’ve been listening to it in my car pretty much non-stop, forming my vision for this movie. This is not officially endorsed by the creators, it’s just a fun project that a bunch of friends that are passionate about movies are doing. We can’t make money off of it or anything like that…but who cares?! We’re making this movie for the sake of art and doing what we love. However, even though we aren’t making money, we do need it. So that’s why we turned to Kickstarter. We need money, but we’re not a bunch of freeloaders! If you’re going to give us a financial boost, we’re going to pay you back with some cool rewards.
