It was the school project we didn’t have to do, but did anyway.
We were supposed to make a powerpoint comparing two different film artists that we studied in my Creativity Through Film class. I decided to evoke Maya Deren and Luis Bunuel within my own short film. I got a B- for a final grade. The girl who made a powerpoint got an A.
This was actually the first time I’ve ever acted in anything before. It was filmed in about four days using only one camera and iMovie to edit under the methods of the Dogma 95 group. The music was also my own composition.
