There’s a nice little iPhone app people should take a look at. It’s a Film Calculator that has a few different functions including a hard disk space calculator for a number of different formats. It’s version 1.0 but a good start. Check it out:

Use this calculator to work out how many rolls of film are required for a
certain shooting ratio, or alternatively calculate how many minutes have
been shot for a certain number of rolls.

This is a useful tool for any script supervisor or producer.
Also available as an offline application.

Pretty cool, thanks for the info.  Seems like the Iphone is going to drastically change the way people do business in a lot of different fields.

I phone is getting really bussiness oportunity as I can see! It is cool!

That’s nice. It makes me wish i have an iphone. It would be awesome to play around with that application.
