Macs are great for film production. If you have the money, wait a few weeks. The new Mac Pro is on it’s way, and it’s going to sport Intel’s fastest chips, as well as more features than you can shake a stick at. If you’re just looking for something down the middle, get an iMac. If you want mobility, get a MacBook or MacBook Pro. Don’t forget to check out Apple’s Pro Apps.

It actually depends on the individual whether he or she prefers a Mac or a PC as their performance are more or less the same, it is just the way of operating and having it do your daily work makes a difference. But I believe that when it comes to creative work, the Mac would do great in terms of quality. I believe that is why most designers prefer Mac over PC. And I think that this discussion would never come to an end.

I have switched from a PC to a Mac and it’s way better for me. It wasn’t that dramatic getting used to the new system.
