BABES IN ARMS (1939)
This is the film that started it all — the first pairing by MGM of Mickey and Judy, fresh off her role as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Based on the musical by Lorenz Hart and Richard Rodgers, the film was directed by the one and only Busby Berkeley.

STRIKE UP THE BAND (1940)
Directed by Busby Berkeley, this MGM box office smash is a delightful “let’s put on a show” musical. It’s packed with singing and dancing. Lots of energy and tons of laughs.
Sunday July 29th – 2:30pm
GIRL CRAZY (1943)
Based on the stage musical of the same name, Girl Crazy was the ninth of ten films featuring Mickey and Judy. With music and lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin, the film features the songs “Embraceable You”, “I Got Rhythm” and “But Not For Me”.
