PAT GARRETT AND BILLY THE KID

This magnificent, lyrical reflection on friendship and mortality follows grizzled lawman Pat Garrett, forced to hunt down his old friend Billy the Kid. As each man maneuvers towards an inevitable, tragic confrontation, traditional roles of hero and sidekick fade into the dust-caked landscape.
