2012 Filmmobile Summer Screening Series: A Salute To Sennett
Angelenos are invited to discover and explore their changing urban landscape when the Filmmobile projects an array of classic films at (actual or implied) cinematic locations across the city. Film historians and filmmakers provide introductions and context. This year, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Keystone Studios in Edendale, the 4th annual Filmmobile Summer Screening Series presents A Salute To Sennett, with six thematic Friday night screenings of Mack Sennett films in locations throughout Echo Park beginning Friday, July 27.

July 27: A Salute To Sennett Series Kickoff with special guest Brent E. Walker, author of Mack Sennett's Fun Factory featuring The Hollywood Kid and Edendale Follies
August 3: Here Come The Kops with live musical accompaniment
August 10: Tillie's Punctured Romance with special guest Ross Lipman, filmmaker and restorationist at the UCLA Film and Television Archives.
August 17: Kids and Dogs with live musical accompaniment by Casey Anderson and Scott Cazan.
August 24: Beauties with special guest Karie Bible of Film Radar and live musical accompaniment by Cosmo Segurson and Scooter Chamness.
August 31: The Little Tramp with special guest Dino Everett the Punk Rock Archivist and live musical accompaniment by Josh Gerowitz and friends.

All events are free of charge and open to the general public.
