July 17th Sunday at 8:00 pm Silent Society of Hollywood Heritage goes to the historic Paramount Ranch Sunday July 17th for Safety Last 1923 film directed by Fred Newmeyer, staring Harold Lloyd and Mildred Davis. Harold’s attempts to convince his girlfriend that he is more successful than he really is finds him in hair-raising positions, most famously hanging from the hands of a clock.

THE GREAT K&A TRAIN ROBBERY
August 21st Sunday at 7:30 pm The Silent Society of Hollywood Heritage goes back to Historic Paramount ranch for Tom Mix 1926 western The Great K&A Train Robbery (1926) Directed by Lewis Seiler, Starring Tom Mix, Dorothy Dwan, and Tony, The Wonder Horse Disguised as a bandit, Tom boards a train to uncover how the trains are being robbed, and attempts to capture the bandits and the heart of the railroad President’s daughter.

Michael Mortilla is the accompanist for this series. Mr. Mortilla is a professional composer based in Los Angeles.


Enjoy your evening of silent film by beginning early - bring a picnic dinner and relax before seeing the films. A flashlight is recommended due to limited lighting in our parking area. Sponsored by the National Park Service, Hollywood Heritage, and the Silent Society. Take Ventura Freeway (U.S. 101) to Kanan Road exit. South on Kanan 0.5 mile. Left on Cornell Way and veer to the right. South 2.5 miles, entrance is on right side of the road.
