2nd Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival

The Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival (LABRFF) is dedicated to showcasing the art and talent of consecrated and emerging Brazilian filmmakers in the most recognized home to the motion-picture industry in the world: Hollywood.

The company was established in 2007 by Journalist Nazareno Paulo and Producer Meire Fernandes, and it was created to be the first genuinely Brazilian film festival in the California market.

Our 4 day film festival is scheduled to begin on March 12th with our Opening Night Gala to Closing Night on Sunday, March 15th. The 2009 festival will showcase over 50 filmes and 4 industry panels for participating filmmakers and the community. In addition, we will continue our commitment to developing our festival and promoting the Brazilian Cinema throughout the year of 2009.
