57TH TRENTO FILM FESTIVAL IN LOS ANGELES

The TrentoFilmFestival is the oldest international film festival dedicated to exploration, and adventure. Since 1952, for 10 whole days, the city of Trento transforms itself into a cultural capitol attracting upcoming directors, producers, and mountain lovers who come from all over the world. The program of the 2009 edition that took place last April, included a wide selection of films and documentaries presenting exciting stories of human beings and their relationships with nature, mountains, and adventure. Very popular during the Festival is also MontagnaLibri a book event that offers a rich schedule of readings and encounters. The Institute will present films by Italian participants and in particular Diario di un curato di campagna by Stefano Savarioni (58’, 2008).
