Saturday, June 5th from 1:00PM – 10:00PM – DOWNTOWN!

SIXTH ANNUAL EPFC YOUTH FILM FEST

The 6th Annual EPFC Youth Film Festival continues with this year's theme: FEED THE MONSTER! Short films exploring neighborhoods created by youth filmmakers all over the world will be screened, mixed, and mashed into the Los Angeles cultural fabric by a select group of cultural instigators: YOU! We'll have the audience guide and mix the performance as well as play music to become a musical flash mob ready for our own cinematic seance! It all takes place starting at 1 pm at THE SMELL, 247 S. In the evening, join us for the debut screening of films from WORK: EPFC's Spring 2010 Youth Filmmaking Class. Students engaged in the discussion and analysis of work in our society and turned their cameras on the worker and becoming craftsmen themselves during the course of the three month class. The event takes place at THE DOWNTOWN INDEPENDENT THEATER, 251 S. Main Street, downtown LA. Community Potluck at 6 pm; Screening at 7 pm followed by Q&A with the filmmakers and instructors.
