The Pan African Film Festival is pleased to announce the theatrical release of Abay vs. Vegas in Los Angeles! Abay vs. Vegas is a film from Ethiopia shot on location in Las Vegas and also the source of the Nile. The crew is comprised of professional filmmakers from both Ethiopia and Hollywood.

Salsawi:
An Ehtio-American and a successful software engineer. He lives in Las Vegas and wants to get married and settled before he hits 40, but could not find his soul mate in America.

Mena:
A beautiful Ethiopian girl who leaves no stone unturned to go to America. She is willing to get married to anybody who is willing to take her to the US.

Both never thought about love up until...........

Nigus:

The farmer who lives in the Abay (the Blue Nile river) village came in to the picture and taught them both the world is nothing without love.
