Monday, February 26th, 2007 * Oscar Wrap Up
I’ve been watching the Oscars for as long as I can remember. I used to attend Oscar parties but I got sick of them very quickly. I hate how people would talk the ENTIRE time and not really listen to what was being said. I had one outburst at an Oscar party cira 2001 when I screamed, “Shut the HELL UP! I’m trying to hear this speech!“ I was a very unpopular Oscar party guest and frankly that was ok. I’m just not someone who can watch the Oscars (or really anything for that matter) and have people talking or making interruptions of any kind.

For those of you who are new to the site….welcome! In addition to the website and weekly e-newsletter, I also have a little thing called “FilmRadar Field Trips.“ The concept is simple. I choose a film and invite everyone to attend as a group. We meet up, watch the movie and then go out for drinks or food afterward. Everyone is welcome. It’s a great way to socialize and meet fellow film lovers!
